This is a premium member benefit for MBA students (mentees)​

Elevate your career journey and make a lasting impact by joining the Mentorship Program, hosted by the Latinx MBA Association. As a mentor, you can guide the next generation of leaders, sharing the wisdom and lessons you’ve learned to uplift our community. As a mentee, you'll gain invaluable insights and expand your network by connecting with experienced professionals. This inaugural program is a unique opportunity to shape our community's future and build connections that will last a lifetime.

Mentee Expectations

As a mentee in our inaugural year, you will…

  • Be matched with a Latinx MBA member who will bring a wealth of experience 

  • Connect with your mentor to discuss plans, concerns, and how to navigate finding a post-MBA job and adjusting to a new role

  • Have the opportunity to meet your mentor at our in-person events (including this year’s Leadership Summit “5 Year Celebration” Evening Reception on Friday, Oct. 3)

  • Be provided with clear expectations and sample meeting agendas 

  • Have the opportunity to check in with us throughout the program

  • Play a role in shaping the development of the mentorship program for the coming years

 

Ideal mentee candidates:

  • Has registered as a premium student member of Latinx MBA

  • Have a strong desire to connect with experienced professionals in our community and want to give back when the opportunity arises

  • Are eager to listen and learn from others’ experiences and see the value of mentorship as more than transactional networking

  • Can commit 1-2 hours every month to meeting with and/or communicating with your mentor through spring 2026

Mentor Expectations

As a mentor in our inaugural year, you will…

  • Be matched with a current MBA student member

  • Share your experience, wisdom, and hard-learned lessons

  • Have the opportunity to meet your mentee at our in-person events (including this year’s Leadership Summit “5 Year Celebration” Evening Reception on Friday, Oct. 3)

  • Be provided with mentor guidance and sample meeting agendas 

  • Have the opportunity to check in with us throughout the program

  • Play a role in shaping the development of the mentorship program for the coming years

 

Ideal mentor candidates:

  • Is a standard or premium member of Latinx MBA 

  • Have a strong sense of wanting to give back and uplift the community

  • Are eager to listen and understand the excitements, concerns, experiences, and questions of current MBA students

  • Have 5+ years of post-MBA work experience (less will be considered)

  • Can devote 1-2 hours every month to meeting with and/or supporting your mentee through spring 2026
